Situation

The minimum system requirements are incorrectly stated on page 10 of the Getting Started Guide, on some of the product Data Sheets as well as on the box in which the product ships.

Solution

See the following for the correct system requirements. The incorrect requirements are also listed below for comparison.

Correction to Minimum System Requirements:  (Correct)

·       Windows 3.1x:  Supported through the LaserJet 2100 printer driver only.  Print driver is not
included in the box; click here to download from the support web site.

·       Windows 9x:  IBM-compatible PC with Pentium 90 MHz processor and 32MB of RAM

·       Windows NT 4.0:  IBM-compatible PC with Pentium 90 MHz processor and 64MB of RAM

·       Windows 2000:  IBM-compatible PC with Pentium 300 MHz processor and 64MB of RAM

·       Windows ME:  IBM-compatible PC with Pentium 150 MHz processor and 32MB of RAM

·       175MB or more of free hard disk space

Minimum System Requirements as stated on the box:  (Incorrect)

·       Windows 95 (basic functions only) and Windows 98:  Pentium 90 with 16MB of RAM

·       Windows NT 4.0:  Pentium 90 with 32MB of RAM

·       Windows 2000:  300 MHz processor with 64MB of RAM

·       65MB free hard disk space

·       CD-ROM Drive

·       Dedicated IEEE-1284 compliant bi-directional parallel port of USB port.

Minimum System Requirements as stated on page 10 of the Getting Started Guide  (Incorrect)

·       486 33 MHz processor or better (or a Pentium 90 MHz processor or better for Microsoft Windows
NT4.0 or Windows 2000)

·       Windows 95, 98, 2000, 2000 Millennium Edition, or NT 4.0 operating system

·       32MB or more of RAM for Windows 95 or 98; 64MB or more of RAM for Windows 2000, or NT 4.0

·       175 MB or more of free hard-disk space

·       USB port or a dedicated IEEE-1284 bi-directional or ECP-compliant parallel port available

Minimum System Requirements as stated on page 17 of the some of the Product Data Sheets  (Incorrect)

·       CD-ROM disk drive

·       Dedicated IEEE-1284 compliant bi-directional parallel port for direct connections
